Compass is a personal development company committed to improving the lives of women. We believe that every woman deserves to live the life of her dreams. More importantly we know that every one of us has the desire and ability to create that life. You do too. All you need is some guidance and inspiration. That’s why we’re here - to help you reconnect with your passion, rediscover your strengths, and regain your confidence.

Our CEO, Kimberly Fulcher, founded Compass based on her own real-life experience. Working in Silicon Valley in the 90’s, Kim found herself living a life that most people would envy. She was a self made millionaire, the co-founder of a dot com company, happily married, with four children, two homes, and a highly respected social standing. And she was miserable.

She was on a treadmill, doing everything that was expected of her as she juggled the many responsibilities of caring for her home, family, career, and community. The problem was, she’d put taking care of herself at the bottom of her list of things to do. As a result, she’d lost herself amidst the many demands of her life.

It was early one evening in the mid-nineties when Kim found herself sobbing on her laundry room floor. At that moment, surrounded by dirty clothing and unfinished projects, she realized she had unwittingly created a life she didn’t want to live. The problem was, she didn’t know what she wanted instead, much less how to get it.

She decided to figure it out. She began reading books and researching the personal development industry. She discovered that while there were a great deal of self-help options on the market, few solutions were tailored to meet the unique challenges of women.

Kim began talking with women in her community, and discovered an epidemic of unhappiness among those who appeared to have it all together. She realized every woman she spoke with was struggling with some version of the problems she was working through, and no one had a solution. It was at that point that Kim committed to creating a company that would help women reconnect with what they wanted in their lives.

She became a professional coach, and began working with women around the world. Based on her interaction with women of all races, nationalities and financial standing, Kim defined the fundamental tools needed by every woman to help them answer the questions: who am I, what do I want, and what do I have to do to have a life I love? She turned these tools into a seven-step program, and wrote her first book, Remodel Your Reality: Seven Steps to Rebalance Your Life and Reclaim Your Passion.

As Kim toured the world speaking about the principles of Remodel Your Reality, she became convinced that every woman could benefit from working with a coach. Yet, she recognized that most women could not afford the cost of one-on-one coaching. An intense belief that every woman should have a coach inspired Kim to establish the Compass Coaching Network, an organization that offers women group coaching services at an affordable price.

Today, Compass is more than a company committed to empowering women - it is a cause and a community; dedicated to improving women’s lives around the world. At Compass, you can affordably work with a coach every month. You can enjoy a community of motivated and supportive women who will cheer you on as you go for your dreams, and you can generate income just by spreading the word about Compass.

My article, Life Is A Journey - Not A Destination is published at
http://www.ezinearticles.com/?expert=Dorothy_M._Neddermeyer,_PhD

Life is a journey, not a destination is a phrase that has become popular. Have you pondered the true meaning of this statement? If you have, you no doubt, recognize that, life is a journey with many steps on your unique personal journey that takes you down a winding and sometimes bumpy road of constant evolution.

My short term goal would be to loose another 10 pounds :) I am working out every day and eating right so I know I can make it happen! I also want to continue helping others reach their goals... that is such a fun thing to do! Long term I would like to be able to afford a condo in Victoria so that when we go to visit we have a place to stay that is ours.
